The death penalty puts innocent lives at risk
Photo by javacolleen Capital punishment has been a controversial topic for decades - an action that some agree with whereas others disagree with. In Taranpreet Doad's recent blog post, she argues that one should receive a capital punishment (death penalty) for crimes such as, rape and murder. I personally do not agree with the fact that Canada should have a capital punishment at all regardless of the crime. I believe that having someone locked up and serve regular jail time for such crimes is reasonable compared to execution.
